Introduction
Lorella Scacco edited the first solo exhibition of Elina Brotherus in Italy at the gallery VM21 Contemporary Art in Rome during the seventh edition of FotoGrafia -Rome’s International Photo Festival, sponsored by the City of Rome. The exhibition shows a selection of photographs by two recent cycles of works: Model Studies and Points of View on Landscape and a video entitled Montagne (2004). In these recent works, the famous photographer pursuing a purely formal search, which began in 2000 and focused on the model.
