Lorella Scacco is a journalist and a curator of cultural events.
Graduated in History of Contemporary Art and in Aesthetic at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome. Member of SIE, the Italian Aesthetics Society.
Curator of exhibitions and catalogues relating to contemporary art exhibitions in both public and private exhibition spaces in Italy and abroad. Artistic Director at the Effearte Gallery in Milan since September 2011 until July 2013. Expert of contemporary Nordic Countries art and in mobile and interactive art.
Collaborates with the University La Sapienza in Rome and with some specialised art magazines. She was the Managing Editor of the art magazine “Diana” in 2011/12.
She is the author of “Media Aesthetic. From Jean Baudrillard to Derrick de Kerckhove”, published by Guerini Editore, 2004, and “Northwave. A Survey of Video Art in Nordic Countries”, published by Silvana Editoriale, 2009.
