Introduction

Graduated in Contemporary Art History and Aesthetics, she held conferences and lectures (seminars, short courses) at several universities, academies and foundations in Italy (University of Rome La Sapienza, University of Tuscia in Viterbo, Scandinavian Cultural residence in Rome, Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome) and abroad (University of Turku, University of Copenhagen, National Institute of Art History, Paris; Academy of Fine Arts, Oslo; Fritt Ord Foundation, Oslo;Italian Institute of Culture in Helsinki). Currently she is completing her PhD thesis in Art History at the University of Turku, Finland.

Since 2015 she is Docent of Phenomenology of Contemporary Arts (ABST51) in Academy of Fine Arts (Italy).

Art critic and curator. She has edited monographs and exhibition catalogues of famous Italian and international artists, especially of recent generations. Over the past fifteen years she has curated numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. She collaborated with various public institutions and private foundations, in Italy, including the Venice Biennale, VIU Venice International University, Triennale and Sforzesco Castle in Milan, MACRO Museo d’Arte Contemporanea in Rome,  Italian Ministry Heritage and Culture, and abroad, including the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Iceland, the Foundation Fritt Ord and Stenersen Museum in Oslo, Tampere Art Museum and Pro Artibus Foundation in Finland, NORDEN Council of Nordic Ministers, Serlachius Museums.

She has conceived and curated “Mobile Jouney”, a fringe event at the 52nd Venice Biennale.
Author of the books: “Aesthetics media. Jean Baudrillard with Derrick de Kerckhove (Guerini Editore, 2004); “Northwave. A survey of video art on the Nordic Countries “(Silvana Editoriale, 2009).
She has published several essays on Italian books including “Think with the senses. Feel with the Mind “, 52. International Art Exhibition Venice (Marsilio, 2007), “Artext. Connect to Art “(Skira, 2006); ” Mikhail Gorbachev art for peace ” (Edizioni Bora, 2000);  “Paola Levi Montalcini. Metamorphosis “(Italian Encyclopedia Treccani, 2001);” Forma 1 and its artists 1947 -1997 (New Argos, 1998). Among the international volumes: “Marianne Heske: A Doll’s House” (Skira, 2010); “Crispin Gurholt” (Skira, 2009); “Marian Heyerdahl” (Press, 2008).

She is an expert in contemporary art of the Nordic Countries. In 2009 she received an award as historian of contemporary art by the Finnish Cultural Foundation.
It has been a consultant for the art collections of the companies Nokia and Tetra Pak. She curated exhibition projects for companies Palm, Vodafone, Volvo.

Since 1999 she was admitted to the Order of Journalists of Lazio as a journalist and has worked as a freelance journalist with several specialized art magazines, including Tema Celeste, Arte e Critica, Flash Art, Exibart, Arte, Segno, Art a Part of Culture, University.tv. She was responsible for the contemporary art section of the magazine Time Out Rome, Magazine and Bazarweb. Managing Editor of the art magazine Diana in 2011/12.

Since 2004 she is member of the SIE, the Italian Society of Aesthetics.

Artistic Director of Effearte Gallery in Milan from 2011 until 2013.
